Two proofs on paper for an illustration in a book-design textbook
Unter einem der Probedrucke: "Zweifarbig bedruckter Leinenband zu einem aus Bodoni gesetzten Buche. Schwarz bedeutet Gold, Rot eine zarte bunte Farbe. Satiniertes Leinen oder Ballonleinen. Der vorliegende Entwurf ist zur Not auch mit Buchbindermaterial ausführbar."
Beneath one of the proofs: "Two-colour printed cloth binding for a book set in Bodoni. Black means gold, red a delicate bright colour. Glazed cloth or balloon cloth. The present design can at a pinch also be executed with bookbinder's material."
